USB Matrix

Black Diamond Video’s DVI and USB matrix switchers, matrix processors, video wall processors, signal converters, and 4K displays facilitate the all digital infrastructure necessary for hospital operating rooms, conference rooms, classrooms, network operation/command centers, entertainment venues, and briefing facilities.

Black Diamond Video’s CXPS is the first all-digital DVI and USB matrix switcher to offer post-output scaling, seamless switching, multi-view windowing, video wall processing, and USB matrix routing in a single 6U device. CXPS features include enhanced EDID management, cable equalization, and pixel re-clocking. The CXPS can act as a single link router for flexible input/output configurations from 4×4 to 36×36, and a dual link router for configurations from 4×4 to 20×20. It can support USB matrix switching from 12×12 to 24×24.

The SXPS is an all-digital DVI and USB matrix switcher that combines seamless DVI switching, USB matrix switching, post-output scaling, video windowing and video wall processing into a single 2U unit. The SXPS acts as a single or dual link DVI router for flexible I/O configurations, including 16×4, 16×8, 12×4, 12×8, 12×12, 8×12, 4×12, 8×16, and 4×16 configurations. It can support 12×12 USB matrix switching.

The CXPS and SXPS can be populated with Quad Dual Link Scaler (QDLSC) video processing cards, which give these single/ dual link routers video scaling capability. Each card supports 4 layers of special effects processing. Effects include image blending, keying, dissolving, simultaneous dissolving, flip-flop dissolving, simultaneous switching, customization of window borders and backgrounds, and stereo image separation. By using the Quad Dual Link Scalar Card in either of these single and dual link routers, windows can be dynamically sized, positioned, and prioritized in real time. Multiple walls may also be configured and controlled by the CXPS and SXPS, which allows users to create large arrays.
